Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of data architects, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Set clear objectives, provide guidance, and evaluate performance to drive team success.
- Data Architecture: Develop and implement a comprehensive data architecture strategy aligned with our business goals. Design data models, establish data standards, and ensure data integrity and security.
- Data Governance: Enhance data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with internal and external policies. Collaborate with stakeholders to define data standards and advance data catalog usage.
- Data Integration: Oversee the design and implementation of seamless data integration processes. Partner with the data engineering team to ensure efficient data flow and transformation.
- Data Security and Privacy: Implement robust data security and privacy measures in line with regulations like GDPR and HIPAA.
Data Analytics and Reporting: Work with analysts and data scientists to define data requirements for analytics and reporting. Support the development of data warehouses and reporting solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leaders to understand their data needs and provide strategic recommendations.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring high-quality delivery of data-related services.
Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously seek opportunities to enhance our data architecture practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data management and architecture, with a strong background in leading teams.
- Expertise in data modeling, data integration, data governance, and data security.
- Familiarity with database platforms (e.g., DB2, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
