AllSTEM Connections is looking for a talented Design Engineer with one of our prestigious client based out at Houston, TX. Our client offers an environmentally safe, chemical-free fire protection system for Aviation Industry.



Location - Houston, TX - 77054
Experience - 4+ Years
Someone who has worked within a design team, enjoy the most recent software packages, managed deadlines / equipment design / project design
Software experience: Must have AutoCAD Inventor - 3D Modeling (Expert User) /3D background




Responsibilities

Draw, update, and maintain designs
Building assemblies, equipment design, tool design, heavy design is a huge plus , enjoys testing products
Streamline, accelerate completion and improve the quality of the creation of general arrangement drawings that are part of design submittals to clients
Shop drawings, and prototyping different features and solutions for unique hangar applications.
Ensure drawings and 3D models are modeled according to company's best practices, are properly reviewed
Manage multiple complex projects at the same time
Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer requirements
Ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and time


Qualifications/Skills

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
Must have AutoCAD Inventor/ SolidWorks/ 3D background/ 3D modeling (expert user)
Strong organizational and communication skills
