AllSTEM Connections has an opening for a Development Engineer in the Santa Clarita area. This is an onsite position. This will be a contract position that could even convert to a full time position.
Responsible for creating development plans for concepts and component development. Looking at the full product life cycle from concept to production. In addition to executing the test and validations required to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
B.S. degree or equivalent work experience in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with an emphasis in internal combustion engines or electrified power trains and associated coursework such as fluid dynamics and thermodynamics. 5 years experience with development and testing of powertrains including test planning, procedure writing, data acquisition and analysis
Must Haves:
Experience with powertrain or chassis dynamometer testing, data logging hardware and software, and test instrumentation a plus
Proven ability to communicate technical information effectively both verbally and in written form to a wide variety of audiences.
