AllSTEM Connections has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Operations in the Eldon, MO area. This is a direct hire/perm position with our client. This client offers some amazing benefits and is eager for the right person to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary leader and decision-maker for the production department.
Spearhead P&L management, set ambitious yet achievable goals, and rigorously measure performance to ensure continuous improvement.
Take charge of hiring, onboarding, and developing talent, building a department known for its skill and dedication.
Efficiently manage scheduling, homeowner issue resolution, and the launch and oversight of daily departmental activities.
Act as an active member of the leadership team, providing vital performance data, pinpointing challenges, and propelling solutions.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of commercial roofing experience, 2 years of residential roofing experience
3 years in managerial capacity with experience managing $10 million plus in production.
Departmental leadership experience is highly valued.
Proficiency in advanced mathematics and computer skills, including MacOS, Numbers/Excel, and CRM systems like Acculynx.
A valid driver’s license and an unblemished driving record.
Ability to lead and empower teams to exceed quality and production targets.
Exceptional communication skills, with a knack for clear and effective direction to employees, contractors, and clients.
Proven problem-solving skills with an agile and results-oriented approach to work.
Adept in budgeting, with an eagle eye for controlling labor costs and material logistics.
A strategic thinker who can also dive into the details, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
The capability to train, mentor, and oversee both in-house teams and subcontractors, ensuring everyone is aligned with our high standards.
Organizational prowess to plan and execute complex work assignments effectively.
