Are you an expert in low-voltage systems, wiring schematics, and AutoCAD? Do you excel at detailed technical design and enjoy providing hands-on support in a production environment? We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Design & Technical Specialist to join our team on the Northwest side of Denver, CO.

This is a key role where you will design critical safety systems and serve as the primary technical resource for our manufacturing and customer support teams. If you are ready to apply your technical expertise directly to developing and supporting vital systems, this is the perfect fit.

As an Electrical Design & Technical Specialist, you will focus on the practical application of design and support:
- Design & Documentation: Create detailed wiring diagrams and schematics specifically for Fire Alarm panels.
- System Design Support: Develop electrical systems and components based on project requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
- CAD Utilization: Utilize CAD software (specifically AutoCAD) for precise design, layout, and drafting of electrical systems.
- Fire Alarm Software: Work directly with industry-standard Fire Alarm Software such as Edwards, Notifier, and Siemens.
- Internal Support: Assisting with wiremen on testing panels and serving as the go-to person for complex wiring questions in the shop.
- Customer Support: Assist with external Tech calls for our customers, offering effective troubleshooting solutions.
- Debugging: Apply strong debugging skills to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues within electrical systems.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical proficiency and practical, application-focused experience:

Core Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience with low-voltage electrical systems is required.
- Design Proficiency: High proficiency in CAD software for electrical design and the ability to fluently read a wiring schematic.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Excellent strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly adapt and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing industry.
- Manufacturing Knowledge (CNC): Understanding of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) principles and the ability to understand programming concepts for NC files.

Education/Experience: Associate’s Degree in a technical field (e.g., Electrical Technology, Drafting) OR equivalent practical experience in electrical design/support.

Highly Desirable (Huge Plus):
- Previous professional experience specifically with Fire Alarm systems.
