Job Title: Electronics and Mechanical Technician
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
•High School Diploma or GED preferred
•Electronics background or equivalent experience
•Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles
•Experience with machinist tasks (tool and die work)
LICENSES and/or CERTIFICATIONS:
•Must pass related job test
•Electronics school or equivalent certification
•Laser school training
•Process instrumentation school certification
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of technical tasks, including but not limited to:
•Troubleshooting electronic systems, including temperature control, CNC control, and PLC systems
•Installation and testing of control systems (temperature control, CNC, PLC, etc.)
•Troubleshooting and maintaining laser systems
•Ordering parts to meet manufacturing specifications
•Working with optical systems as required
•Ensuring compliance with Company Repair Station Manual (RSM) and Quality Control Management (QCM) standards
•Adhering to ISO standards and Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) quality requirements
•Cross-training department employees to ensure a well-rounded, skilled workforce
•Adhering to all company health, safety, and environmental policies while performing job duties
•Promoting and adhering to the Corporate Code of Ethical Standards
•Demonstrating regular and reliable attendance
•Perform CNC mechanical repairs and setups
•Operate and maintain machine tools such as mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM machines
•Control automatic PLC logic and troubleshoot related issues
•Complete other tasks and duties as needed across the facility
