We have an immediate need for a Field Service Representative in the Queens, NY area that is open to working 100% on-site and available for occasional weekend work and overnight travel. You would be responsible for a broad scope of operational support and install, move, add, and change requests supporting the IT infrastructure in office environments, reservation centers, and airport locations.
Qualifications:
• 0 -2 years formal IT training or 2 years equivalent work experience within IT support
• Good communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with customers
• Troubleshooting - ability to think outside the box and find creative solutions Basic Entry
Requirements:
• Ability to provide on-site, and on-call 7x24x365 support, as needed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
Examples of some of the Essential Responsibilities include:
• Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determines proper solutions.
• Producing timely and detailed service reports.
• Documenting processes.
• Collect and analyze performance data to provide technical assistance.
• Accurately document solutions related to complex issues
• Create workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed and ensure issues are resolved
• Troubleshoot and develop technical solutions related to software and setup errors for field engineers, technicians, and customers
• Build positive relationships with customers
