We are seeking a dedicated Hardware Validation & Verification Engineer to join our dynamic team in Rochester, NY. This role involves performing hardware verification and validation testing across the entire equipment development lifecycle. You’ll work both independently and on cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with system engineering methodologies, FDA regulations, and ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, write, and execute test cases for hardware verification and validation
- Design and develop test procedures for new features
- Execute subsystem and system testing, record anomalies, and follow up for resolution
- Collaborate in a regulated medical device environment following defined processes
- Communicate testing progress and results to the team
Qualifications:
- Must reside in or commute to Rochester, NY (no WFH)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with medical device design, verification, and requirements engineering
- Experience with laboratory equipment and general biochemical procedures
- Knowledge of tools like HP Quality Center, Jira, and Windchill a plus
- Bachelor's in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience with Vitros® Systems or similar analyzers is highly desirable.
