AllSTEM Connections has a need for 2 Help Desk Analysts in Topeka, KS. These are both 6-12 month contracts with the possibility of converting to a direct hire position. This will be 100% onsite positions.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide client-side application and software support for enterprise and agency-specific applications such as Microsoft O365 apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive), Cisco VPN, Cisco Jabber, Adobe, CoreFTP, and various 3rd party applications.
Perform software installation, configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
Manage user accounts, including password resets, account logon troubleshooting (remote and on-prem), and basic Active Directory modifications.
Coordinate with the IT Asset Analyst to manage hardware and software inventory, including license assignments and hardware compatibility.
Troubleshoot hardware issues and perform system upgrades, including BIOS, driver, and firmware updates.
Join computers to Active Directory, create computer objects, and manage peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.).
Image/reimage devices and manage user off-boarding device processes.
Provide device encryption remediation and manage Dell support tickets for non-DtaaS devices.
Respond to incoming support calls, diagnose problems, and escalate issues when necessary.
Log and categorize trouble tickets following established help desk processes, while contributing to the knowledge base.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma/GED or completion of a technical school program in information technology or a relevant field.

Experience:
Experience installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting commonly used hardware and software.
Understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.

Preferred Experience and Skills:
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on IT systems and software usage.
Ability to document support activities, solutions, and procedures for knowledge base articles.
Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems and IT service management processes (e.g., ITIL).
Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail.
