AllSTEM Connections is looking for an IT Field Support Technician to work in Fairbanks, Alaska. This is a direct hire, full-time position with benefits. There is an amazing 401k plan with matching and profit sharing! The position pays hourly and you will be eligible for overtime. This position is working with end users and clients to help troubleshoot remotely and onsite any network, infrastructure, hardware, and software. This is a multi-environment position since you will be working with clients that all have different tech environments. There will be travel in this position and it is 100% onsite where you will check into the office before traveling to the client site as needed.

Responsibilities:
• Troubleshooting and installing for multiple clients.
• Automation and getting things installed. Other tooling is used. Remote management tool, connect automate. Management of client computers.
• You will get calls in regards to desktop and network help.
• You will get calls for infrastructure – network and servers. Network equipment.
• Troubleshooting everything you would need to make a business run. Webcam, mouse, printers.
• Working with Azure and Mobile Devise management – using it to manage the business. Getting clients to use the mobile. Setting up first use and maintaining. Making sure they are using the apps. Switching Legacy devices and getting the customer to use more Microsoft and Azure.
• Handling multiple environments – each client has their own set up hardware’s and software’s the client is using so being flexible is important. We are not a single environment.
• Sync up meetings each week as a team and other meetings as assigned. Meetings internally and externally to gather information. Cross functional.
• Interaction with customer and end users daily
• Provides full scale technology sustainment, strategic planning and professional services to end users.
• Provide a variety of client support services that will highlight your computer building, networking, and installation skills.

Qualifications:
• At least 2 – 3 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Management, and Azure
• At least 2 – 3 years of experience in customer service / client facing environment
• At least 2 – 3 years of technical, analytical, or a related field
• Certifications are a plus, like: Intune mobile. Microsoft or Azure. Modern desktop associates certification. CCNA or A+
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments, Mobile Device Management, and Azure AD
• Demonstrated knowledge of computer system and network functions
• Knowledge of scripting and automation using PowerShell or Connect Automate preferred
• Knowledge of technology systems and application designs
• Travel required. Must have valid driving license and a good driving record.
? Will be using company vehicles to travel to client site
? Must report to office before heading out into field. All travel will be within a 2 hour radius at most.
• Knowledge of virtualization systems: remote desktop manager. Server / VMWARE are virtualized servers. Collection of servers are managed virtually by one box.
• Remote Desktop Manager – access to other clients infrastructure. Domain controllers and network switch access.
• Willing to meet with customer in person. Be able to ask the client questions in a nice way. Be able to explain to the client. Company has an emphasis on client experience.
• Ticketing system is ConnectWise manage
