Principal UI Planner
Location: Oakland, CA
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Role Overview: As a Principal UI Planner, you will be at the forefront of our design strategy, leading the planning and execution of cutting-edge UI projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our products are not only visually stunning but also intuitive and user-friendly. Your expertise will drive the creation of seamless user experiences that set industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the UI planning process from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, developers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
Develop and maintain UI design guidelines, ensuring consistency and coherence across all platforms.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.
Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to keep our UI designs at the cutting edge.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proven experience leading design projects and teams.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to think strategically and solve complex design challenges.
