Growing food manufacturing company in Wyandanch, NY is recruiting for a bilingual English/Spanish Maintenance Technician. This individual will work 1st shift -Mon to Friday 6am - 2pm. Overtime is also available on weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintenance and Repair:
o Perform routine and emergency maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
o Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment faults.
o Conduct preventive maintenance to prevent downtime and equipment failures.
• Technical Skills and Knowledge:
o Utilize electrical and mechanical knowledge to efficiently diagnose and resolve issues.
o Keep up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in machine repair and maintenance.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, with strong electrical and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn and work with new and diverse machinery and equipment.
