We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Safety Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting our project teams to foster and sustain an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC). You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and overseeing the Project Safety Roadmap and Site Safety Plan, ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times.
In this position, you will monitor compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations and take an active role in maintaining a safe work environment. You will generate and submit weekly Total Case Incident Reports on large-scale projects, lead incident and injury investigations in collaboration with production leadership, and assist in conducting weekly toolbox safety meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and implement the Project Safety Roadmap and Site Safety Plan.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Generate weekly Total Case Incident Reports for large projects and submit them to project leadership and management.
- Lead incident and injury investigations with support from production leadership.
- Provide assistance during weekly toolbox safety meetings.
- Collaborate with teams to promote an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Construction Management, Business, or Engineering preferred.
Licensure/Certifications:
- OSHA 30 Construction certification required.
- CPR/FA Certified (Trainer preferred).
- Must be willing to obtain a BCSP CHST certification or higher within 12 months.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in construction safety, with electrical safety experience preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and support incident investigations.
- Proficiency in generating and interpreting safety reports.
