What You’ll Do
• Support Oracle database systems across development, testing, production, training, and disaster recovery environments.
• Enhance disaster recovery processes to minimize workload.
• Maintain and optimize grid and database software, including tuning, ASM/storage management, and user/db security.
• Provide MSSQL Server Enterprise support for critical applications.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and execute data corrections for production databases.
• Be available for on-call duties, including weekend support during releases and maintenance.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
• 8+ years in database administration, with expertise in:
o Oracle internal views, shell, SQL, and PL/SQL scripting.
o Managing Oracle 19c databases, RAC, and Active Data Guard on Linux systems.
o Oracle Exadata configuration, patching, and support.
o Migrating Oracle databases to AWS or similar cloud infrastructure.
o Administering MSSQL Server and EDB PostgreSQL Enterprise databases.
o 24x7 on-call support for production and development database systems.
o Designing and maintaining large-scale databases across multiple sites.
Preferred Extras
• Experience with tools like Remedy, ITSM, PPM, and ServiceNow.
