Right-of-Way (ROW) Inspector

About the Role
We are hiring a Right-of-Way (ROW) Inspector to oversee construction, utility, and maintenance activities within public rights-of-way. This role ensures work meets regulatory, safety, and quality standards while coordinating with contractors, city departments, and utility providers.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and monitor right-of-way projects for compliance with city standards and safety protocols.
Coordinate with contractors and public agencies during all project phases.
Document field work and updates using CMMS tools such as CityWorks.
Respond to on-site issues and assist in resolving field conflicts.
Maintain accurate reports and ensure assigned equipment remains in safe working condition.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
2+ years of experience in utilities, construction inspection, or right-of-way coordination.
Working knowledge of ROW regulations, construction plans, and specifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn CMMS software.
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Valid Colorado Driver’s License and ability to operate a company vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Experience with public-sector right-of-way projects and utility coordination.
