We’re seeking a senior-level Electrical Engineer to take on a leading role in our expanding Energy & Power Solutions team. This position offers a unique opportunity to mentor and manage junior and mid-level engineers while working closely with clients to deliver exceptional services in the evolving energy sector.



8+ years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering
Majority of background in Utility / Power projects
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
This is a hybrid role based in Fort Worth, TX, with occasional travel


Key Responsibilities:

Lead an electrical engineering team to provide advisory services and engineering design solutions across diverse market sectors
Engage directly with clients to assess energy needs, develop concept-level plans, and drive projects from design through full execution
Support the full project life cycle—from exploration and development to operation and repowering/retirement—delivering comprehensive, end-to-end solutions
Contribute to strategy formation, business development, and sales efforts to grow our energy transition portfolio
Collaborate closely with Client Account Managers and sales professionals on high-impact strategic pursuits
Apply your expertise in power systems, electrical engineering sciences, consulting, design management, and project management
Utilize experience in Owner’s Engineer roles, contract management, technical advisory, due diligence, and strategic project development
Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to anticipate challenges and effectively manage teams


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 8 years of engineering design and/or consulting experience
Professional Engineering (PE) license in any U.S. state, with the ability to obtain licensure in additional states as required
Proven ability to engage with clients, build relationships, win new work, and deliver innovative, value-driven solutions
Demonstrated experience in business growth strategy, including identifying and developing new project opportunities and leveraging emerging technologies
Skilled in proposal development and project execution planning, including scope definition and manhour estimation for engineering services
Strong passion for mentoring and developing junior technical staff
Excellent communication and technical writing skills
Willingness to travel as needed to support project work (typically 25%)
