We are looking for a Sr. Instrument & Controls Designer to join our client's team in the engineering industry in Manassas, VA.

Contract: Temp to HIre (after 3-6 months)
Pay Range: $45 - $75/hr.

Overview:
We're looking for a Sr. I&C Designer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects focused on designing state of the art structures within Advanced Facilities. You’ll be accountable for developing Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) following ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology, and panel design including panel layout and I/O wiring diagrams, additionally you’ll specify control and/or monitoring devices and control valves including valve sizing calculations. Working closely with client to developed new and edit existing site sequence of operation documents for a wide range of semiconductor equipment. Reviewing construction submittals and help answering RFI’s. You’ll also manage demanding project schedules, prepare accurate reports, and demonstrate communication skills.

Qualifications:
• Associate's in Electronics or Instrumentation
• 10+ years of I&C Design Experience
• Experience using AutoCAD and Revit
• Understanding of Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) following ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology.
• Understand of analog, digital, and relay field wiring and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Experience specifying instruments and creating ISA datasheets.
• Experience reading and writing industrial SOO’s.
