Your Role:
As the CNC Milling Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of the aluminum CNC milling operations. You'll manage tool and consumable inventory, train operators, monitor production output KPIs, and ensure the highest level of precision and efficiency in our processes. With your expertise in HAAS machines and CNC programming, you'll review and approve CNC programs, always looking for ways to improve and optimize our operations.
In this role, you will:
• Lead and Inspire: Set the standard for excellence in the CNC Milling Department, driving the team to achieve top-tier performance.
• Manage Tool and Consumable Inventory: Ensure optimal inventory levels for tools and consumables, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
• Train and Develop Operators: Provide training programs, empowering operators with the skills needed to excel.
• Monitor Production Output: Provide data on finished part output to the Production team to track goals.
• Review and Approve CNC Programs: Oversee the creation and implementation of CNC programs, ensuring they meet client's standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Foster a continuous improvement mindset, continually seeking ways to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• HAAS Machine Expertise: Utilize your experience with HAAS machines to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
• 5 years of experience managing a CNC milling and programming team in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with CNC programming, particularly with HAAS machines.
• Proven ability to manage tool and consumable inventory efficiently.
• A natural talent for training and mentoring operators.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor and improve production output KPIs.
• A meticulous approach to reviewing and approving CNC programs.
• A proactive attitude toward continuous improvement and operational excellence.
