Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and recruiting top talent for technical and non-technical roles. This position requires a consultative and collaborative approach, ensuring a positive candidate experience while aligning with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee multiple candidate pipelines, ensuring efficient tracking and progression throughout the recruitment process.
• Provide consultative guidance to hiring managers and candidates, fostering improved outcomes and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Source and identify qualified candidates for technical roles, ensuring alignment with job requirements.
• Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and create accurate requisitions.
• Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies utilizing online platforms and recruitment tools.
• Collaborate with internal and external sourcing partners to achieve optimal hiring outcomes.
• Represent the company brand positively, promoting a strong image to candidates and external service providers.
• Pre-screen resumes and evaluate the effectiveness of candidate evaluation tools to streamline hiring processes.
• Negotiate and support hiring managers in designing competitive compensation packages and extending job offers.
• Conduct background checks and ensure compliance with relevant hiring protocols.
• Collaborate with external agencies, contractors, and representatives to manage employment advertising campaigns.
• Support and contribute to college recruitment programs, affirmative action initiatives, and career development efforts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Human Resources team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
o Equivalent experience or certifications in Human Resources may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of six years of progressive experience in a Human Resources or Talent Acquisition role.
• Comprehensive understanding of human resource principles, recruitment practices, and employment standards.
• Proven ability to manage candidate pipelines and recruitment processes effectively.
• Strong consultative and interpersonal skills to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal) to document, report, and present findings clearly.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other computer systems/tools for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with corporate talent acquisition or HR-related functions is preferred.
• Must demonstrate adaptability to understand and apply new concepts in an evolving environment.
• Ability to work independently or within a team setting, as well as flexibility to work extended hours or travel as required.
