Short Description:

The System Integrator roles is to operate and tune Linux/Open Source systems, servers and other system integration related components to ensure high levels of availability and security of the core organizational applications. Participates in the planning and implementation of system monitoring, maintenance and support of all networked software and operating systems. Where applicable, will also provide end-user support and troubleshooting of applications and software.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Systems integrators design, build, synthesize and implement technological applications that are customized to meet an organization’s needs. 
  • Test and authenticate software to determine suitability before integration into the company’s main system. 
  • Draft technical instructions, engineering plans, technical designs and other documents related to systems integration.
  • Develop work plans for team members
  • Provide client solutions and support based on client preferences. Regularly work with an organization's management, administration and legal staff to ascertain that the solutions recommended satisfy legal requirements. Provide clients with post-installation and integration support. This involves troubleshooting, updating and general maintenance of the system.

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience in an IT-related role, preferably with leadership responsibilities
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field, or commensurate experience
  • Experience with project management and product and software development
  • Proficiency with SQL, Azure, and cloud-based web services
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
