A Pega Developer is a skilled professional who specializes in designing, developing, and implementing business process management (BPM) and customer relationship management (CRM) solutions using Pega Systems' platform. They play a key role in helping organizations streamline their business processes, automate workflows, and improve customer experiences by creating customized Pega applications.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Design and develop Pega applications to automate and optimize business processes.
  • Create and configure case management, decision management, and user interfaces using Pega's tools.
  • Implement workflow rules, business logic, and integration points within Pega applications.
  • Perform system testing, debugging, and quality assurance to ensure the applications meet requirements.
  • Optimize and maintain Pega applications, resolving issues and enhancing functionality.
  • Create and maintain documentation of Pega application design, development, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Pega applications into the organization's infrastructure.
  • Stay current with Pega platform updates and best practices in BPM and CRM.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Pega certification, such as Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA).
  • Pega Software: Proficiency in Pega application development and configuration.
  • Analytical: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex business process automation challenges.
  • BPM & CRM: Knowledge of BPM, CRM, and business rules management concepts.
  • Databases: Experience with web technologies, databases, and integration techniques.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills for interacting with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Teamwork: Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional environments.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development practices.
